Hello, I’m the Sussex Seamstress, welcome to my blog.

A quick intro: I’m a life-long professional seamstress with experience in both fashion houses and costume making. But these days I focus on independent pattern making, here at sussexseamstress.com. (if you’re interested, you can read more in the about section)

This blog is intended to give some useful tips and tutorials for both beginners and more experienced sewing enthusiasts.

You can also find tutorials for my sewing patterns, and all the videos referenced in this blog on the Sussex Seamstress YouTube Channel. All my patterns are available via the sewing pattern store, you can also get downloadable sewing patterns if you prefer.
