About Sussex Seamstress

Established in 2020, Sussex Seamstress was formed to create easy to sew, practical and wearable clothes in an accessible range of sizing.

And by creating tutorial videos with every pattern we also aimed to provide the best possible advice and instruction to both beginners and more experienced sewers alike.

Sussex Seamstress patterns have featured on the TV show Sewing Street and in various sewing magazines including Simply Sewing and The Pattern Pages. Our patterns are available worldwide as either paper patterns or PDF downloads.

I made the majority of the dresses shown while working for Zandra Rhodes. Embellishments were by the hand finishers.
